The CAO lx2 cigar is made exclusively for CRA at the CAO Fabrica de Tabacos factory in DanlĂ, Honduras, it is said to have “a bold, muscular structure layered with flavors of bittersweet chocolate, paprika, and woody tobacco notes,” according to Tim Ozgener, president of CAO. This particular cigar was released in 2009 and its the first time I had it since I became a CRA (Cigar Rights of America)member. The wrapper has a nice dark brown oily wrapper with a signature label distinguished from other Lx2s by its pink band extension and CRA logo; the lx2 stands for double the ligero. The wrapper had a few slight veins, but the draw was excellent with a hint of coffee bean and spice flavor, and burns with a very dark gray ash.
