When a cigar burns improperly it probably won't taste good either. Different tobaccos in the cigar needs to burn evenly throughout the length of the cigar and as it is smoked the taste will change in some way. In blending a cigar, there has to be a delicate balance to produce flavors for the cigar. The blending of the tobacco is key to achieve the taste and aroma, but if it is poorly constructed will ruin a master blend.(photo Link)
