Tobacco is heavily expose to pesticides, organic manure and chemical fertilizers because the plant is delicate and susceptible to fungi, molds, and insects. However, by the time the leaves are picked the pesticides will have dissipated. Tobacco is then aged and cured and ready to be sold and made into a cigar, so don't worry about smoking any chemicals.
