Don't wait for conditions to be perfect to get going. Find what you can do now and start going to work. If there's a problem think about it and then act. Have you tried to solve it, or are you waiting for someone to fix it for you. First, don't underestimate your abilities and intelligence just because you lack a title in some area of expertise. Once you give it a shot you might surprise yourself. If you have honestly tried to fix the problem, without overlooking the details, then don't let your ego prevent you from seeking help.
