A relationship is like handball or volleyball. When you hit the ball against the wall it comes back to you; in the case of playing volleyball the ball is tossed over the net and someone on the other side is supposed to hit the ball back over. In a relationship if the other person is not hitting the ball back then there is no reciprocation. Relationships takes work and if only one person is working, then it isn't much of a relationship at all.
