Milton Hershey Smoking Cigars


Milton Hershey the founder of  Hershey Chocolate Company was an avid and philanthropic cigar smoker who took great pride in the growth of the school, the town, and his business. He also had several sugar plantations and mills in Cuba.  "Every morning he would smoke a Corona-Corona and would put his cigar on the window sill of the sugar house before entering.  By the time he returned the cigar would be in the hand of some native."* Mr. Hersey died at the age of 88, on October 13, 1945.* (see pg 126.
