The amount of air that a smoker pulls through a lit cigar is referred to as the "draw". If it is a tight draw, the smoke is trapped in the cigar and it will become a struggle to get the smoke out the cigar, and at this point smoking will not be relaxing. For a pleasurable smoking experience, a well-made cigar allows the smoke to flow easily throughout the cigar.
